Impromptu adventuring, exploring our backyard and then putting pen to paper, hoping to entice you to try one, if not all, of our escapades, is my true reward!

Community Gardens are a fun and innovative way to meet people, share gardening skills and grow your own food. Community Gardens provide an opportunity to learn about sustainable living as well as helping to build a sense of community and connection with the environment.
With Sunshine Coast Libraries promoting sustainable living with their various workshops,
Seed Library Program,
Seed Saving Sessions and how to
Attract Bees and Butterflies to your Garden, I thought a list of Sunshine Coast Community Gardens would be a great idea for keen gardeners, keen 'wannabe' gardeners or anybody really, looking to get inspiration and support when it comes to digging up the dirt on community living.

Why not start your own Community Garden in your local area?
If none of the above Community Gardens are in your immediate locale, why not consider starting your very own Community Garden. The Council provides advice for people and community groups on how to start a community garden project:-
You can also register to join other community volunteer programs. You can help
maintain parks or restore natural areas.

All in all, there are many ways to
dig up the dirt whilst sharing your gardening skills by getting involved with one of the local Community Garden communities - it's a fun way to make new friends, connect with nature and learn to grow your own food.
