Planning a day's sightseeing in the city? Then fuel up with a Sunset Grill all-day breakfast.
The menu includes everything you'd expect from a first-rate diner-style restaurant. This includes eggs, bacon – turkey and peameal style as well as streaky – sausages and toast. Vegetarian options include Florentine and Veggie Delight omelettes, pancakes and waffles. For a healthier alternative, you can have yoghurt and fresh fruit, smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, or granola. All washed down with never-ending coffee, tea and fresh fruit juice.
Sunset Grill's large diner is bright, airy and clean. The servers are friendly and waiting time is only as long as it takes to prepare a freshly-cooked breakfast.
Two of us ate at Sunset Grill for three mornings in a row, trying something different every time. Each time the bill came to about CN$40.
Located downtown near most of the big hotels, Sunset Grill has plenty of tables so you'll have no problem finding a table even on a public holiday. The menu is extensive so you'll never tire of the choice of breakfast.
Sunset Grill was established in 1985 by Angelo Christou and has a number of branches elsewhere in Ontario and in Alberta.
