Bands are great fun, but they can be expensive and sometimes they don't tour for years. So it is always so much better if you can see a band for cheaper and more often. Sometimes this is impossible, but thanks to the tribute bands, we are able to see lots of incredible songs being performed live. And thanks to the
Sunset City Tribute Band Festival, you can see all sorts of tribute acts locally, for cheaper and the songs are still just as well sung!
The festival is back again; they are in Perth this time. Last time, they were performing in the North and South, and this time, the Summer Festival is coming to you. With a homage to some of the best bands of the 90s, the lineup will be huge.
Featuring tribute acts for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers (known as The Pepps), Foo Fighters (Foo Fakerz), Limp Bizkit (Counterfeit), My Chemical Romance (House of Wolves), and Green Day (President Gas Men). What's more, there will also be the house band performing on the day, Band from Hell.
There will be Pop Punk songs, Nu Metal and Rock songs too. There is something for everyone. There are still some tickets available for those who love 90s songs. Tickets are $39.20. And if you want to go, then you will want to head to the Amplifier Bar on Perth, on Saturday, May 27th. The first band will take to the stage at 6:30pm and you will sing and dance all night. Have a drink and reminisce about the good old days of the 90s!
