Sunset Cinema returns to Commonwealth Reserve this summer with a stellar line-up of the latest blockbusters, family favourites and VHS classics under the stars.
The 2019 season kicks off on January 24 with Bohemian Rhapsody, a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek).
Other new releases include the acclaimed Vice, starring Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Steve Carell and Sam Rockwell and Mary Poppins Returns, an all-new original musical and sequel starring Emily Blunt, Ben Whishaw and Meryl Streep. There are also the latest summer blockbusters Aquaman and Bumblebee, while those who love a comedy can enjoy Holmes & Watson and Instant Family.
Families can look forward to seeing popular new releases Ralph Breaks The Internet and Pick of the Litter under stars as well.
VHS classics include Cool Runnings and Dirty Dancing and there will also be a special event screening of Bohemian Rhapsody Sing-A-Long.
There are some yet to be announced screenings, so keep on eye on the website for all the latest.
Complementing the outdoor cinema experience is a selection of Melbourne's favourite food trucks and a licensed bar (please note there is no BYO).
