Sunset Cinema returns to Australian National Botanic Gardens this November with a stellar line-up of the latest blockbusters, family favourites and VHS classics under the stars.
The 2018/19 season kicks off on November 28 with the critically acclaimed A Star is Born, directed by and starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in her first leading role in a major motion picture.
Other new releases include First Man, the riveting story of NASA's mission to land a man on the moon starring Ryan Gosling; Bohemian Rhapsody a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek); Widows, a blistering, modern-day thriller with an all-star cast and a special advance screening of King of Thieves starring Sir Michael Caine.
Families can look forward to seeing popular new releases such as Smallfoot, Goosebumps 2 and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms and the all-time classic The Lion King under stars as well.
Other VHS classics include The Big Lebowski (celebrating its 20th anniversary), The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and the Christmas staples Love Actually and Die Hard.
There are some yet to be announced screenings, so keep on eye on the website for all the latest.
Complementing the outdoor cinema experience is a selection of Canberra's favourite food trucks and a licensed bar (please note there is no BYO). There will also be free activity packs for the kids.
