Attention all you foodies in Brisbane. This'll tickle your taste buds. It's back. It's better. It's bigger. It's the Sunnybank $2 Food Trail for 2018 and it's on Saturday 14 July from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm. The format for the day is a self-guided food adventure with a selection of over 90 mini $2 dishes (yes - only $2!) from 45 local restaurants and vendors in Sunnybank Plaza and Sunny Park.



As in previous years, there will also be lots of performances and live music throughout the afternoon and evening to keep you entertained. You will enjoy talented local musicians while trying all the tasty morsels available. Keep you eyes peeled for the traditional roaming lion dancers. There's also a dedicated Kids' Zone with heaps of free activities for the children, including giant board games, colouring-in, face painting and more. This is free entertainment for the whole family.





The Sunnybank $2 Food Trail features authentic Asian cuisine. You will find Chinese (of course), Japanese, Taiwanese, Thai, Hong Kong style, Vietnamese and other national dishes. There are also two mini food trails: A Vegetarian Trail as all you veges deserve great food too; and a Little Foodies Trail for the little ones. As if the cheap taster plates and free entertainment weren't enough, there is an added bonus. You could WIN a $5000 International Foodie Adventure. This incredible prize is for two people to anywhere in Asia including air fares, spending money and accommodation. Would you choose Singapore or Shanghai, Bangkok or Beijing? For me it would be foodie paradise, Honkers. All you have to do to win is get a food stamp every time you buy a $2 food dish along the Food Trail on the day.
