Sunday Siestas are the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon this Spring.
Proudly presented by the Penrith City Council, this popular series of family-friendly events return on Sunday 18th October and Sunday 15th November from 11am to 4pm.
The Sunday Siestas are FREE to attend and feature a wide variety of home-grown market stalls, fantastic live music performances and a feast of culinary delights at Tench Reserve, by the lovely Nepean River.
All are welcome to come along and peruse an exciting array of unique locally made boutique products, handmade art and textiles, clothing, home decorator items, clothing and accessories, preserves and handmade gifts.
Market-goers are also encouraged to set up a picnic blanket on the grounds and enjoy great live music performances from the likes of Hannah Erika Music and Ellen Amy, as well as fun interactive activities and a jumping castle for children.
There will also be a range of cuisine on offer including Texas BBQ meats, Turkish Gozleme, Popcorn and Sweet Treats, so come along and make a day of it by enjoying a leisurely lunch or a family dinner at the event.
These unique events provide the community with an opportunity to get out and enjoy the Spring weather, as well as support local businesses and organisations.
