Some spend their Sunday afternoons and evenings moping around the house mourning the inevitable - the weekend is on its way out and there lies a full work week before the next one. Others adopt a more proactive and social stance, they head out for a Sunday session, not wanting to waste the last few hours of precious drinking time. The Fox has long been a Sunday staple for a young pretty crowd who like to be seen. Expect a lot of 18-21 year olds dressed to impress on this night of the week in particular. A major drawcard for the venue is the zero dollar steaks (formally $2) with drink purchase on the rooftop bar. There are three levels to this venue making it large enough to get a change of scene without leaving the venue. Get there early since numbers to the popular rooftop bar are limited and this place gets packed. The Fox is well serviced through public transport from by the Southern Busway and South Brisbane train station.

Oxford 152 , Oxford Street, Bulimba

For a slower pace and a slightly more mature crowd head to Bulimba's Oxford 152. With comfortable lounges and a relaxed atmosphere, Lazy Sundays are the fast becoming the a popular way for Brisbanites to unwind and reflect upon the week that was. All this is done while kicking back with a beers and alongside live entertainment with 3 different acts scheduled over the afternoon and into the evening. Lazy Sundays at the '152' also offer a jug of beer and 1kg of buffalo chicken wings for you and the mates to get stuck into while you kick back.
