As you drive up to Greenfields on a sunny Sunday, the colours entice you in. It is for a good reason this cafe is called Greenfields, be it the golf course next door or the greenery around the lake. Greenfields exudes relaxation, tranquillity and gives you eyes a resting place. Even more so if the Saturday night before was a bit hectic. And when you see the bright orange umbrellas and comfy seating arrangements, that holiday feeling will surely kick in.

Greenfields Albert Park is known for its wholesome, healthy and holistic approach to food and a modern, light-filled cafe space. The Lakeside Eatery which is open from Wednesday to Sunday serves delicious breakfasts, including puppy treats! Check out the menu here .

During summer, on every Sunday from December 10, 2017, until April 2018, Sunday Safari takes place. This is the way Sundays should be, catching up with family and friends, eating good, uncomplicated food, bringing your dog along, playing games, listening to music and enjoying a day of rest. And that is exactly what Sunday Safari provides.



Starting at 2 pm, you have a choice between relaxing on the green field in front of the restaurant sitting on comfy chairs or at picnic tables, around the bar or on the cafe deck. There are picnic baskets with cheese and wine to order or a barbecue. The barbecue menu has something for everyone and includes marinated pork belly, rosemary and mustard crusted lamb cutlet, grilled chicken with honey mustard, grilled eggplant and crispy shallots salad with green beans and miso, fermented red cabbage with kohlrabi, puffed corn salad with rocket, tomato and salted ricotta, plus options for the kids.

Live music Acoustic by Sean Marchetti and Friends (3-5pm) and Sunset DJs (5pm) provide the requisite Sunday feel and a glass of summery Aperol Spritz will surely get you in the mood, if nothing else will. There are other drinks too of course. Lawn games, such as oversized chess and a small bouncy castle will ensure the kids are not bored once lunch is finished.
