Treat yourself to a lazy afternoon
It's official, summer is just around the corner! How do I know? The free Sunday music sessions in the front garden at the Fremantle Arts Centre have started. The season runs from October to March every year and is very popular, attracting an average of 800 people each Sunday. This year is the 30th anniversary of the event that has become a summer institution for so many people.

The acts are on from 2pm to 4pm with an intermission in the middle. This is a good opportunity to look at the art exhibitions or browse the homemade gifts for sale in the Fremantle Arts Centre shop. You can take a picnic and alcoholic drinks, but if you'd rather buy something there drinks and pizza are available in the courtyard and the café is also open.

There's nothing nicer on a Sunday afternoon than sitting in the beautiful front garden at Fremantle Arts Centre and listening to some great music. It's family friendly, and even on hot days, it's lovely under the big old shady trees. If you haven't tried it yet, you've got all summer to get there.
