Melbourne has so much to offer. I love experiencing new places and events and sharing them with you. I have an interest in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets so I will let you know if you these can be catered for in my reviews.

Train your mind to gain peace in your life

You are warmly invited to join in Chan Buddhism meditation held every Sunday. Everyone who is interested in Chan meditation is welcome to come along regardless of religion or background.

Dharma Drum Mountain (DDM) Melbourne is a community learning and living the Buddha's Teachings through the tradition of Chan Buddhism.

The Common Ethos of Dharma Drum Mountain:

Our vision: to uplift the character of humanity and build a pure land on earth.
Our spirit: to give of ourselves for the benefit of all.
Our direction: to return to the original intention of the Buddha and work for the purification of the world.
Our approach: to promote comprehensive education and extend loving care to all.

Meditation can help us to minimise stress not only during the meditation, but in life in general. People comment that they feel more peaceful, and happier. If you've always wondered if this can help you, here is your chance to try it and to learn more.

DDM has regular events including a three day retreat. Please check their website or Facebook site for more details.
