Little Triangle is proudly presenting a special season of Sunday in the Park with George as part of the 2017 Sydney Fringe Festival.
Inspired by George Seurat's magnificent painting, 'A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte', Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's soaring musical is itself an artistic masterpiece.
Regarded as one of the most acclaimed musicals of our time, Sunday in the Park with George received the 1985 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and has enjoyed several major revivals in London and on Broadway.
Sunday in the Park with George is a deeply insightful and highly personal examination of life through art and the artist.
Directed by Alexander Andrews, with Musical Director Conrad Hamill, Producer Rose McClelland, Repetiteur Alexander Mau and Stage Manager/Costume Designer Samantha Eskin, the exciting Depot Theatre production features a talented local cast including Owen Elsley (George), Georgina Walker (Dot), Tisha Kelemen (George's Mother), Simon Ward (Jules), Jordan Warren (Yvonne), Sophia Barnard (Louise), Jack Dawson (Soldier), Victoria Luxton (Celeste I), Caitlin Rose Harris (Celeste II), Zach Selmes (Franz), Kelly Goddard (Frieda), Nic Savage (Boatman), Katelin Koprivec (Nurse), Harry Flitcroft (Louis), Richard Woodhouse (Mr.) and Erin Bogart (Mrs.).
