Spies, Sisters and Showgirls: Women in War Films
This summer, why not visit the Australian War Memorial and watch a selection of free movies at their annual Sunday Film Screening Series. This years theme is "Spies, Sisters and Showgirls: Women in War Films". Held each Sunday between January 17th and February 14th, these screenings will be accompanied by a short introduction to the film given by experts from the Memorial.
The movies showing are:

January 17th - "The Sapphires" starring Jessica Mauboy.
January 24th - "Paradise Road" starring Glenn Close.
January 31st - "A Very Long Engagement" starring Audrey Tautou.
February 7th - "Charlotte Gray" starring Cate Blanchett.
February 14th - "Testament of Youth" starring Alicia Vikander.

Each movie begins at 1:30pm. This is not a ticketed event, so get in early to guarantee a seat.
