Suncoast Jewellery & #43 ; Art Expo

Is bling your thing? It's certainly mine! I admit sometimes I feel naked without my jewels! Wearing jewellery, however, is not only about aesthetics. It can also enhance our health via the metaphysical attributes of gemstones and metals. Interestingly, artisans have been making decorative pieces to adorn the body since ancient times. Jewellery, it seems, is an important part of every culture.

A great way to explore local handmade jewellery and artworks is by attending The Sunshine Coast Jewellery and Art Expo on March 22nd and 23rd at The Peregian Beach Community House. The theme is "meet the makers - connecting with people." Entry is free and if you purchase a raffle ticket you have the chance to win some great prizes with all proceeds supporting Papas Home in Nepal, a charity project helping street kids.

The official launch on Saturday 22nd March at 5pm will be catered for by local French bakery Le Bon Delice. Patrons can also listen to the exquisite sounds of the Offenbach Trio string ensemble who will be performing live at the launch. This event is definitely one to indulge all the senses!
