The main pool is located on the third level and overlooks Kuta's busy Legian street. It has plenty of lounge areas and not one, but two bars (one which you can access from inside the pool!) for you to enjoy a refreshing cocktail, Bali's classic Bintang beer or one of their tasty traditional Balinese dishes or western snacks.[BREAK]


The top level also has a large but shallow pool, which makes it more child friendly and just like its downstairs neighbour, this space has plenty of sun lounges, cushions, a bar and toilet facilities.[BREAK]

Sun Island Legian offers a range of traditional massages, body treatments, scrubs and facials in your hotel room or at their spa located on the second floor,and as part of the pampering guests receive discounts on selected treatments.

The bliss doesn't stop here! Steps away from the hotel you will find an endless list of markets, shops, restaurants, cafes, temples and Bali's most popular beaches, Legian and Kuta beach. If you are feeling energetic enough you can also walk to Seminyak beach.[BREAK]
Attention to detail is a big strength of theirs. I spent my birthday here and had dinner out. Coming back to our room we were both surprised to find a birthday cake sitting on the bedside table on behalf of Sun Island staff - it was a great way to end the day.[BREAK]
I must admit my partner and I were only supposed to stay in Bali for 10 days, but after spending this time at Sun Island we simply did not want to leave. The friendly reception staff helped us extend the booking, move rooms and even change our flights back home. Even after 15 days, it was hard to farewell this place and their warm professional staff.
