Because salads are more than a side
Sumo Salad is an Australian fast food salad franchise. Its first store was born in Sydney in 2003. Now there are over 100 stores locally and internationally, including five in Adelaide (three in the city itself and one in Westfield Marion and Westfield Tea Tree Plaza respectively).

Its menu consists of three choices.

The first choice is the Made Fresh To Order menu. These menu items are prepared right in front of you. Nutritional requirements are easily met with its range of 97% fat free, high protein, low carb, low cholesterol, low gi, low kj, low salt, low sugar, dairy-free or gluten-friendly salads.

The second choice is the Fresh Deli menu. This menu changes from store to store and changes according to the seasons. In winter, hot soups are also on offer.

The third choice is the Design Your Own menu. You can design your own salads getting just what you want. Start by picking the size you want - regular or large. Then choose the base, the basics, the extras, the protein and the herb you want. Finally, select the dressing you want.

You can become a member, if you wish, by picking up a rewards card in-store. Membership entitles you to $5 off your next salad as well as a free salad on your birthday.
