I am an academic and writer living in Melbourne. I love to travel and I also love writing about all the things Melbourne, regional Victoria and other parts of Australia have to offer.
Celebrate for a Good Cause

We have all seen the heartbreaking pictures of koalas, kangaroos and other Australian animals who have been severely affected by the recent bushfires. This Australia Day, January 26th, why not get together with friends and come and help raise money to support animals that have been badly hurt through the devastating bush fires and the people who are so generously caring for them. You will have lots of fun in the process and leave with all those feel-good vibes.

Summertime Social Bushfire Relief Fundraiser will take place on the Federation Square Rooftop Car Park (Russell St Extension, Melbourne). Sales from Games Lanes, Backyard BBQ & Proceeds from Relief Ale will go to Warriors 4 Wildlife, a not-for-profit rescue organisation dedicated to rescuing sick, injured, orphaned or abandoned animals in need.

Summertime Social has been open since the beginning of January and offers a lot of fun. There are lane games and lawn games with prizes and for the 26th the Aussie theme will certainly be there. You can drink Schooners of Relief Ale and enjoy a real Aussie backyard barbecue.
