A glass of wine, fine food and Scarborough sunset
Expansive ocean views and extended opening times, along with fabulous West Australian wine, craft beers, ciders, spirits and gourmet food are expected to make the 2018 Sunset Wine at Scarborough a big hit.
Although Sunset Wine has been operating each year since 2014, last year was the first time it was held at the Brighton Reserve venue and event director Richard Campbell said this year's event would be tweaked to give visitors an even better experience.

"We've opened it up to allow even better views of the sun setting and we've added an extra half hour at the start of the afternoon and half an hour at the other end of the day to really extend the sunset experience," Richard said.
The event will be a great experience to gather with friends, listen to live music, sample beautiful WA boutique wines and watch the sun go down.
Sunset Wine will be held on Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18 from 2pm to 8pm at Brighton Reserve on Scarborough Beach at The Esplanade in Scarborough.
Richard said the event provided a great opportunity to sample wines from some of WA's less well-known wineries as well as some old favourites.
A range of food will be available including tapas, pizzas, sliders and other festival food.
The popular Sunset Balcony will be back for 2018, providing lounges and high bars with uninterrupted views of the ocean and a great spot to do a bit of people watching.
This year will also see a Summer Sparkling Bar where people can choose from a range of sparkling styles, including Pinot, Rose, Shiraz and Pet Nat, and sit back on the grassy slopes and enjoy the sound of local musicians.

Justin Martins, a pop acoustic act, will play his brand of upbeat music, likened to Jason Mraz, but with the chilled out vibe of Jack Johnson, from 2pm to 4.45pm on both days.
From 5pm to 8pm on both days, acoustic cover band Felony Trio will provide their modern take on the best music of past and present.
There are two ticket types this year, a general tasting glass for $26 pre-purchase or $30 at the gate and a Plumm tasting glass for $36 pre-purchase or $40 at the gate. Children under 18 years are free accompanied by a guardian.
Both ticket prices include booking fees and provide complimentary wine tasting and live music.
