Summersault at the Caroline Springs Town Centre Recreation Reserve, 19 The Parade, Marrickville, Caroline Springs is The City of Melton's biggest celebration of summer and sounds. An all-ages event, be sure to be there on Saturday 9 February 2019 from 2pm to 10pm.
There's a mammoth lineup of talent on stage not to be missed - markets to enjoy browsing through, activities galore complete with petting zoo cuteness for the kids in the Market Village, and of course, some tasty treats at some of the tastiest food trucks lining up to feed you.
Horns of Leroy will kickstart Summersault Sounds at 4pm on the Main Stage with infectious beats and swoon-worthy tunes inspired by the flavours from New Orleans to Fitzroy. This punked-out 7 piece band will take brass band music to a whole new level. Maddy Jane at 5pm will be sassing you out with her super-sized performance. This is one incredible singer/songwriter who supported Harry Styles on his sold-out Australian tour.
The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra at 6pm will slay you with a whole new level of energy inspired by the infectious afro-beats of Nigeria and its neighbours. It's contemporary African Funk with powerful tribal rhythms and grooves. Saskwatch at 7pm have earned a reputation as one of Melbourne's most electrifying live acts, and have taken their unique music to some of Australia's biggest and best festivals. With ever-changing soundscapes and colourful patterns, they neatly evoke elements of neo-psychedelic, indie-pop and soul.
Insanely talented, KINGSWOOD at 8pm are one of the biggest rock ensembles in Aussie rock music. Edgy and constantly evolving, their tunes are contagious. The Potbelleez at 9pm are a force to be reckoned with and will be bringing home the night as the last performance on stage. With iconic Australian anthems such as Don't Hold Back and Are You With Me, they are one of the most recognised and added bands on Australian radio. Responsible for sold-out worldwide tours, this is huge; so beat your drums, spread the word and get excited!
The Carnival is back, featuring some of your favourite rides and showtime treats, along with a 100 plus strong market stalls offering fashion, arts and crafts and homemade goodness at this free, family-friendly event put on by the City of Melton.
