Free musical fun for everyone
Relax in the gardens or dance the day away. For the months of January and February, you can enjoy musical talents from across the Darling Downs at various parks throughout the region.

Starting on 6th January 2019, local bands such as The Hobsons, 2 Timing, Sax Plus and many more will delight you with their musical renditions from the '50s to current hits while you soak up the beautiful summer days.

Summer Tunes at Laurel Bank Park, Toowoomba


The free event which is hosted by the Toowoomba Regional Council offers a relaxing vibe for young and old in the pristine surroundings of Queens Park, Picnic Point, Laurel Bank Park and Newtown Park.

Summer Tunes will also go regional at Oakey, Crows Nest, Cecil Plains, Pittsworth, Goombungee and Cambooya throughout February.

Children's face painting also features at selected dates and venues, as does a dance floor If you wish to join in.

Summer Tunes is being held each Sunday with the exception of Australia day weekend, weather permitting. Times vary so visit www.tr.qld.gov.au/summertunes for more info.
