It's officially summer and with Christmas and events on the horizon, it's time to get out and about to enjoy the things we love and experience the new. Georges River Council, in partnership with the NSW Government, is one body putting on the seasonal fun with a series of buzzing themed celebrations to bring life back into the streets.
Summer Streets is the name for this suite of 4 family-friendly outings that include markets, crafts, circus tricks, amusement rides, giant games, music and roving entertainment, light displays, delicious food, a beer garden, and more.
In the heart of Hurstville, Christmas sparkles at this market with a magical starry wonderland of festive decorations and light displays. Shop for gifts in the street market, enjoy Christmas carols and roving performers, carnival rides and crafts.
When hunger gets the better of you, indulge in temptations from popular local restaurants.

Summer Streets Pop-up Park - 14-16/1/22, 10am-4pm, Palm Court Hurstville
A tropical fairyland is what you'll find at this busy junction that aims to bring people together to meet, relax and engage. Summer deck chairs and garden tables add to the ambience, whilst a free circus school and giant yard games offer something for those that want a bit more activity.
