The long summer school holidays are something that most families look forward to, an opportunity to relax and do things together, or escape the city to a favourite place. But there are some times when kids and teenagers just want to try something new, and luckily most local councils in South Australia offer a school holidays activities program with a range of fun things to do for young people.
Many of the activities for kids and teenagers listed below need to be booked in advance - please CHECK if booking required and book early to avoid disappointment (especially for the free things to do). Some of the events are available on different dates, or at different locations, so be sure to check the links provided for the best opportunity for you. All the listed things to do are open to all, even if you live outside the council district.
