The Therry Dramatic Society presents 'Summer of The Seventeenth Doll' Written by Ray Lawler and Directed by Jude Hines. The show premiered on August 20th at 8pm at The Arts Theatre and will run until August 30th.

It's the story of the summer of 1953 in Carlton, Melbourne where it's the seventeenth year of an annual tradition. It centres around two sugarcane cutters, Arthur Barney Ibbot and Reuben Roo Webber who travel to Melbourne for a celebration with two city women, Olive Leech and Nancy.

This summer is different from others before it, it is full of tensions and strains. Will the couples survive the summer or will there be heartache? The production has an all star cast including Allison Scharber, Eleanor Kay, Maxine Wilson, Penny Hamilton-Smith, Glen Christie, Rodney Hutton and Jonathon Johnston

Don't miss your chance to see this drama production at The Arts Theatre running until August 30th.
