Summer Nights Drone Show – Docklands
Victoria Promenade in Docklands is going to have a
spectacular night of nights from
15 to 30 Jan 2022. The
Summer Nights Drone Show is a unique aerial display that has been developed by the Internationally renowned drone art company
Celestial . If you want to see some real magic, just click the Celestial link that'll give you an inkling of what to expect. It's magical. At Docklands, each night you'll get
two eight minute shows running at 9.30pm and 10.30pm. Expect it to be like nothing you've ever seen before in Melbourne as our great city hosts Australia's largest ever drone display with 350 drones taking to the sky.
Along with the show, from
15-24 January only, you'll hear a special poem titled
'Melbourne, Feel the Sound' by local artist Ren Alessandra, winner of the National Poetry Slam 2020.
Then from
25-30 January, you'll see the Wurundjeri creation story of '
How The Platypus (Dulai Wurrung) Was Made' come to life. It's told and illustrated by Wurundjeri, Dja Dja wurrung and Ngurai illum wurrung artist, Mandy Nicholson.
Victoria Harbour offers the best view to this show-stopping event, and perhaps even head in earlier and make your way to Victoria Harbour and support the wonderful venues and locals.
