Queen Victoria Market 's (cnr Queen and Therry Streets, Melbourne) Summer Night Market is back for the long haul from 22 Nov 2023 to 13 Mar 2024 (excluding 27 Dec) from 5-10pm every Wednesday and entry is free. If you're driving in, there's $15 event parking in both open-air and undercover car parks from 4:30–11:00pm. Highly anticipated, it's set to make waves at this iconic open-air sheds market and fill it with all that encapsulates our Aussie summer vibes. With more than 100 traders and over 45 street food stalls, 6 festival bars and more than 50 market stalls; just dive right into the holiday spirit as the Market transforms into a summer wonderland. To get you in the mood for the upcoming festive season hot on our tails, featured is a lush Christmas tree forest and roving Santa Claus the kids would love; plus a lineup of festive entertainment, including carollers and a DJ spinning Christmas classics. Gather your friends and family for a great night out as these iconic sheds burst into life with delicious street food, shopping, refreshing cocktails and mocktails, the sounds of live music and roving entertainment, and more.

With Christmas just around the corner, start ticking presents off the list while supporting local, independent artisans. This year’s selection of shopping traders offers a range of special, one-off gifts for everyone – from bespoke homewares and custom artwork to jewellery, clothing and much more. Make it an unforgettable summer night(s) at Melbourne's original and favourite Summer Night Market . It's a win-win for everyone, as you support traders by shopping local. Take your time, enjoy the huge range of goodies, and when you're ready to take a little break, you can grab yourself a bite to eat and enjoy the Night Market Festival Bars. There's refreshing mojitos including classic lime, apple strawberry, orange mango or watermelon slushie from the Happiness is Mojito bar, with each flavour also available as mocktails for those who don't drink. The Brick Lane Beer Garden will also be putting out the summer vibes so you can relax under the summer sun with an ice cold Lagerita or Alcoholic Ginger Beer Slushie. There's also The Traditional Lemonade Stand - the ultimate thirst-quencher. Keep it simple and traditional or opt for a zesty lemonade slushie. Running Bull Sangria is also back; a summer staple with the team's traditional recipe all the way from Spain.

Did someone say food? There's a wave of flavour wafting through the air as the Summer Night Market menu turns up the summertime vibes. That's Amore Cheese are launching their Mozzaburgers - can you imagine! Mozzarella buns with two filling choices of mortadella, pistachio and rocket (pictured above); or tomato, basil and balsamic. Nepal Dining Room are making its long-awaited Summer Night Market return, and the team will be plating up juicy momos (chicken or vegan) plus chilli chicken stir-fry (also pictured above), and slow-cooked pork belly. Yum! You can give me pork belly any time. One of my favourites, Hoy Pinoy will again be serving up their authentic Filipino street food. Think grilled corn cobs with chilli, soy-glazed chicken skewers and pork belly skewers (yum again) in a banana ketchup glaze. Rib-a-licious - imagine deliciously sticky ribs (beef, chicken, or both) with a side of crispy chips. You've gotta finish it all off with some sweets, so be sure to make room as It's Off Tap, Melbourne's infamous chocolate-covered strawberries will be making their Summer Night Market debut, dishing up what is sure to be a very summer season favourite. Another Aussie favourite, the Pav - Pavlova. Choose from indulgent Black Forest to a fresh Summer Smash flavour combo; it is not to be missed. This is just the tip of the iceberg with plenty more to whet your appetite.
