Learn gardening skills from an organic farm expert
The Eco Living Display Centre, located at The Briars on the Mornington Peninsula, offers a variety of low cost green living workshops to the public, in ways to reduce water, energy and waste to decrease bills at home, as well as ways to create a beautiful garden for dry conditions.
One such gardening workshop will take place on 7 December from 1-3pm, at a reasonable cost of $15.
The summer gardening workshop, presented by Jarrod Ruch, will give hands on advice about heirloom fruit and veggies and organic pest control over the summer months. Jarrod and his family have run their own organic farm and heirloom seed business so he has an amazing knowledge in this area. He will also be giving away some lovely heirloom seeds on the day.
Bookings are essential, contact the Peninsula Visitor Information Booking Centre on 5987 3078 to secure your place.
