The East End is a very popular part of Adelaide to eat and shop at now, and with Summer Fridays in the East End returning again this year there will be a whole load more reasons to visit. If you want a change from Rundle Mall shopping then head east to Rundle St on a Friday evening and check out one of the newest events on in Adelaide.
From November 16 until March 22 Splash Adelaide will be sponsoring the return of this popular event which brings crowds en masse to enjoy the food trucks, market stalls and entertainment which made this area so popular last year.
Our vegetarian friends hopefully won't be forgotten if Manu from Veggie Velo can make it down.
Entertainment will be provided by selected local Adelaide bands, buskers, and radio station Soundpond are showcasing some of the city's most exciting DJ talent. Market stalls are likely to be selling everything from art work, photographs, jewellery, and clothes to cakes and food.
Applications from prospective stall holders to complement Ebenezer Place traders are still under consideration, so you will need to check back on the Facebook page regularly to get updates on what you will find here this summer.
But for those of us with a sweeter tooth I can reveal that the very popular Lil Miss Macaron and The Cupcake Table have already been selected to take part in Summer Fridays in the East End.
If all this talk of food makes you feel like a fish near a lure, you may be right. But hey, what better way to be attracted to spend your money on the best fashion, clothing and curios that the East End can offer :)
