It's time to dance and party. These summer nights are perfect to get out into the park and to listen to some live music. There will be so many incredible songs for you and your family to dance the night away to! These Summer Concerts in the Parks
are going to be very popular with locals and with anyone else who just loves good music.
Thanks to the City of Nedlands, this is a free event for the whole family to enjoy. While you're there you will have the chance to hear Shakedown, which is one of the best party bands out there. They will be playing all of the hits which is a surefire way to get everyone on their feet and dancing! Shakedown has performed literally thousands of gigs over the years and this will be one of their best!
For the kids, there will be face painting and a bouncy castle to keep them entertained when they're not dancing. And you are welcome to bring a picnic and a rug with you, but if you choose not to, you can always get yourself a sausage sizzle and a soft drink thanks to the Lions Club. If you fancy a pizza instead, then you can head to the local pizza shop and get a wood-fired pizza. And for dessert, what would be better than a Mr Superwhipp ice cream or snow cone! Especially when it is still warm on a night, you can cool down with a frozen treat.
Parking isn't very easy in the area, so consider catching public transport or walking to the concert if you are able to. And make sure to reserve a ticket so that you won't miss out on this fun concert. It is free, so you don't have to pay to reserve a spot. And if you do manage to secure a ticket, then you can head to Masons Gardens in Dalkeith, on Sunday the 12th of February. The show starts at 5:30pm and will be finished by 7pm, so kids of all ages can attend and dance the evening away.
