Pack a suitcase with your best handiwork and head for Colac
By Carole Redlich
Art 'n Craft enthusiasts are invited to pack up your individually crafted, handmade or repurposed textile fibre and visual art works into your best suitcase.

There's a Makers' Market on at the Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre (COPACC) on Sunday July 7th (in the school holidays), and you're invited to contribute.
Beautiful artwork to be bought and sold

But you'll have to be quick if you want to book a selling space. At a seller-friendly cost of $5 these will be snapped up fast, and there are only 30 places available.

The market will be open from 9.30am until 4.00pm in the COPACC foyer as part of the Cross Pollination Textile and Fibre Art event. Marketeers will have access from 8.30am, and will be allocated half a trestle table, or what can be fitted into one big suitcase, to display their wares. Bookings are essential on (03)5232 9418.
Perhaps you will be able to purchase a book bound by hand

But what's a market without a few customers.

While there are no EFTFOS or credit card facilities, organisers assure there are ATMs close by. And aside from the market, there are exhibitions to take in, and great coffee to wet your whistle.
