is exactly what the name suggests: half of the premises is a shirt shop (both mens and womens), and half of it is dedicated to drinks. Just make sure you don't spill your drinks on your/their shirts.
The whole bar is themed. You will find the left over shirt fabrics used as cushions and light covers; you might even find yourself eating on one of the sewing tables.
For those who love their whisky, (
let's face it guys, you are there to either have strong 'manly' drinks or shirts or coffee) there is a whole rack of quality whisky. Some of the whisky go up to $40.
I went there late on a Wednesday night just as the bar was about to close. So I only ordered a glass of red wine ($12, Shiraz). Nevertheless, the bar tender was friendly and helpful.
The menu there has some finger food such as salami, and cheese platter. Whisky, Rum, Coffee, Beer. They have a variety of Whisky and Coffee. Sadly, I wandered into the bar too late and they had already cleaned their coffee machine.
This is sort of a place where you can drink and shop. Any one who likes to blend being a shopoholic and an alcoholic should be mindful of their drinks/shopping impulses. The shirts are handmade in Australia so their quality is high, but so is their price.
This bar is 'tucked' away in a little lane, but you will have no trouble spotting a group of businessmen on a Friday night. On a not so busy Wednesday night, I was fortunate enough to meet the shirt designer herself.
I recommend anyone who works in Wynard or City area to go check it out if you have the need to buy a new shirt and mingle with other 'suits'.
