After a successful stint in Melbourne and Brisbane, Sugar Republic is setting up shop in Sydney at Myer's flagship city store in George Street. This giant interactive candy museum is an exhibition paying homage to Australian sweets, chocolate, ice cream and decadent desserts.

Aimed primarily at adults (children welcome too), this pop-up will have sweet lovers in heaven with new fun-filled spaces and themed rooms to play around in. It's a very unique sensory experience that will make you feel like you're in that Candy Crush video game, but without the frustration.

Your adventure in this exhibit will have you diving into a huge bubblegum pink ball pit, jumping out of a giant birthday cake, swinging in a fairy floss padded room, climbing inside a life size gumball machine and spinning a Wheel O' Fruit, as well as enjoying some other surprises.

Encounter art installations that include a sherbet-filled rainbow bridge, a neon art wall, a larger-than life traditional lolly shop to play in, gigantic ice creams, a confetti shower, a pink on pink area and more sweet-themed art that is colourful and Instagram-worthy. Your lens will be clicking away madly and photography is encouraged, although no selfie sticks or tripods are allowed. Staff are happy to take photos of you.

Some free sugary tastings are available as you make your way through the exhibit, including ice cream from the soft serve machine. There's also a Sugar Republic dessert bar, a retro candy store and gift shop.

This sweet house of fun takes over the 6th floor of the store and comes with an admission price for adults of $35 on weekdays and $39 on weekends. Children aged 3-12years are $29, with those 2years and under free. Tickets are only available online and are for one hour stays, just pick a date and time to enter.
