Fringe World shows are known for having a bit of attitude, with many featuring some raunchiness or colourful language but there are shows you can take your kids to without feeling awkward. Sugar, is one of these shows.

The hour-long spectacular has been put together by Perth's Paper Haus Theatre Co and it's well… pretty sweet. The all-female cast dance, sing, joke, and show off some impressive circus tricks while telling a story best described as the millennial version of girl power.

Between the aerial acrobatics, witty banter and entertainment, the audience is treated to a story about self-belief.

Sugar is showing in the over 18s venue, the Black Flamingo in the Pleasure Garden in Northbridge but under 18s are welcome with parents and guardians. This would be a great show to take tween or teen daughters to - they'll not only relate to the theme of the show but also enjoy some of the music and comedic quips. It is on until February 5. Check the Fringe World website for more details.
