If you're looking for some traditional and contemporary jazz in Melbourne, check out the Sugarfoot Ramblers. The team of 6 includes Travis Woods (trumpet), James Macaulay (trombone), Jon Hunt (clarinet), Matt Hayes (banjo), Jono Brown (bass) and Daniel Berry (drums).

This group of young Melbourne musicians draw inspiration from New Orleans and recorded their first album with traditional New Orleans tunes, through to Graeme Bell compositions. They have performed at several festivals and popular venues around town. You can enjoy their musings at these venues and times from June to July:

3 July - 1pm, B.East (Lygon St)

3 July - 4pm, Longhorn Saloon (Carlton)

10 July - 12.40pm, Victorian Jazz Club (Clayton RSL)
