Some of the best lollies I have ever had have come from Suga, found in Chadstone shopping centre. These lollies are fantastic because they are the old-style hard boiled lollies which they sell in bags or even bottles (which is handy if you decide that you want to give these as a present to someone.

I love these lollies because they are so reminiscent of the past and of a time when lollies lasted for ever. If you can hold yourself back from crunching into these hard lollies, they can easily last for five minutes. I'm afraid I can't say the same about most lollies in the confectionery aisles at most supermarkets.

What I also love about this store is you can watch the lollies being made in front of you; see how sticky lumps of hot, almost boiling lollies are wielded around a hook and then sliced and swirled into different colours. This process is something that you can easily watch for twenty minutes without realising any time has passed.

It is even better when you are lucky enough to try a sample of the lollies when they have just been made and are still hot and warm and slide all the way down your throat.

This is the kind of store which you go to in order to buy presents for other people, but end up buying 'presents' for yourself. So I would recommend that you buy two, one for yourself and one for a friend.
