Succulents are the way to go for easy functional gardens
As any avid gardener would know, succulents are one of the most hardy and easy to grow plant variety available. If you are not aware of this fact, then attending the Illustrated Talk on Succulents for Gardens of the Future is a wonderful activity to attend and learn more about these versatile varieties of plants.
They can be a wonderful hardy addition to existing gardens - filling in the gaps - or replacing plants which are not as hardy at surviving in the hotter months, as succulents can certainly do. They are suitable for mass planting and can be made into all sorts of feature garden areas. The possibilities are boundless.
Some grow well with certain other plants such as roses, whereas other types grow well with bulbs. This is valuable information to learn!
Succulents are such versatile plants. They are suited to garden beds, pots, feature gardens, vertical wall gardens, around ponds and lots of other creative ways which you will hear about during this Illustrated Talk.
The talk will be held at Domain House, on Dallas Brooks Drive in Melbourne on February 2nd in 2018. Light refreshments will be served before the talk begins at 10am. There will be books available for sale and succulents on show to view and purchase if so desired.
