For me, in the past, Lilydale has always been a fairly down-to-earth no-nonsense town. If you want to visit all the frills and antique stores perhaps you may choose Sassafras or Olinda, but now has opened in Lilydale and changed all of that.



It is a gorgeous little teahouse filled with antique teacups, interesting curios, giftware and beauty products and a lovely selection of handmade snacks and sweets.



As you may feel from some of the pictures, you automatically feel as if you have gone back just a little bit in time

Tea is served in china teacups and lovely freshly made coffee in cups or mugs.



There is a cabinet filled with cakes, muffins and special pastries as well as a sandwich bar filled with fresh sandwiches, foccacias and hand made savoury treats.



Although we had never been here before we were treated like long-lost friends and made to feel most welcome - even the children were smiled at.



Hanging from the roof was a lovely selection of unique umbrellas and on the shelves: beautiful jewellery, handbag holders and lovely skincare supplies.
