Join in the Fun for the Subiaco Street Festival
It's that time of year again - when Christmas is almost upon us. If you can't wait for Christmas, then this event is an early Christmas surprise for you.

On 24th November, Subiaco's streets will transform into a Christmas wonderland which will be reminiscent of "ye olde European celebration", but it will be across Rokeby Road! You can enjoy a magical atmosphere and the programme includes:

Interesting stalls (listed below)
Delicious foods on offer (listed below)
Refreshing cold beverages
Various Christmas-themed activities for all ages
Santa Claus
Roving performers

Miming performer at Street Festival

Performers include:
Just Improvise
Subiaco Primary School Choir
Brass Roots

Juan Rando Dance Academy
Synergy Elves

As well as all this, in the evening you will see the turning on of the lights. Santa himself will lead a lantern parade of school children to the 13 metre Christmas tree and the new Subiaco Mayor, Penny Taylor and Santa will then flip the switch on the city's dazzling display.

Tree will be decorated and lit!

"It was huge last year, there were 15,000 people," Ms Taylor said. "The walk-through tree was very popular with people taking photos."

Rokeby Road will be filled with all these activities for the whole family to enjoy and it will be in the style of traditional European celebrations. This is the second year this event will take place and the inaugural event last year had Subiaco filled to the brim with Christmas cheer, as a mass of decorations transformed the street into a jolly wonderland!

The street will also be decorated with stunning light installations to complement all this free entertainment. The event is suitable for all ages and will run from 4 pm to 9 pm.
