Sometimes July School Holidays can strike fear in even the most calm parent. The rain, cold and trapped children seem to be a recipe for tantrums, endless trips to the local shopping centre or mornings at the dreaded indoor play gym.

So before your children turn into their own type of Weird Animals, registrations are now open for the Weird Animals Holiday Program being held for its third year in a row at Subiaco Church of Christ.

This polished and professional program is open to children from 4 year olds to 11 year olds and runs from the 7th - 11th July from 9-12pm. There are limited positions and it is completely free!

To be clear these holiday programs centre around the Bible, teaching the children something that they may not have an understanding of through school or home.

But don't think that means it's boring! This years program centres around the theme of self-esteem and confidence. With so many children feeling like an outsider and having no self worth this holiday program focuses on how God thinks they are priceless. Using songs, skits, stories, games and delicious food the children learn that even 'Weird Animals' have a special and unique part to play in our world.

In my personal experience you have to register fast [LINK=http://www.subikidsclub.com/]and for those who haven't had children attend in the past this comes with a warning: you MUST be prepared to hear them sing the songs continually, talk about it for the entire year until the next one and ask you every couple of months whether it's July yet... just saying...
