Were you that girl in the early 00's who was swooning over what Carrie was wearing, smirking at the sarcastic wit of Miranda, found Charlotte's optimism enduring and thought that Samantha brought out the wild child in you that you were too embarrassed to share with you friends? Then you my friend like many others were a Sex and the City fan and lucky for you, the city of Perth is hosting an exhibition to tickle the fanciest and most exclusive palates.
Patricia Field, the mastermind behind the Sex and the City costumes was in Perth this week to launch the exhibition that brings all Carrie's adoring fans a step closer to the garments that literally, stopped a generation. If you're following Enex100 and Forrest Chase on Instagram, (and if you're not, rush your tushy over and do so now), you would have noticed your news feed being flooded by imagery of where Patricia Field was dinning, #Nobu, taking photos with #andadreasstyle and where she was speaking to a crowd of adoring fans, #enex100.
I attended this event last night and it definitely did not disappoint. With champagne on arrival and intrinsic beading work to gaze at, this dame was being wooed. If this wasn't enough to have you scoot over to Enex 100 to have your eyes feast on the glory that is the fashion of Sex and the City, the surrounding retailers, big names such as Witchery and Mimco had their own sales to entice even the most frugal shopper. The exhibition, Style and the City is running from 4 April 2014 – 1 May 2014 so rush over before you miss out!
