Italian Traditional Food At Its Best
Boronia Park is an area within the leafy municipality of Hunters Hill. There are shady playgrounds, sports ovals and walking tracks in this area. There are also numerous cafes and restaurants to choose from on Pittwater Road, the main stretch of road that proceeds through Boronia Park. Stuzzichini's Fine Foods is one of these superb restaurants.
It was raining outside on the day we visited for lunch, so their hot chocolates were a warm welcome. One companion chose the Mortadella Panini with pesto, mozzarella and eggplant. This was a delicious choice. My other companion chose the Porchetta Panini with roast pork, crackling and gravy. This was also a tasty alternative.
I chose the Marinated Steak Panini with scotch fillet, rocket and caramelised onion. Like all Italian cuisine, meals are shared and enjoyed with family and good friends. Though all three dishes were too good to keep to ourselves, mine was the winner. Why do I know this? My companions had difficulty keeping their forks from my juicy steak.
Stuzzichini's Fine Foods has a large variety of pizzas, pastas, salads and beverages, and they have pre-prepared meals and desserts for takeaway. With the school holidays about to commence, this is the perfect restaurant for families in a quiet leafy area but also suitable for friends to get together. Stuzzichini's is an appealing restaurant with traditional Italian food and good service where one visit is not enough.
