The Italian excellence in design

I was at the Padua Fair one week ago and I was so impressed by the Studio Arredi stand. What drew my attention were the wooden baby bikes without pedals. They loomed up with bright colours and they were so appealing that I asked for some information. By the way, I thought they could be a very good idea for Christmas gifts.

Despite the producer of those kids toys is, I came to know that the wood components are supplied by the Studio Arredi itself, which develops its core concept around the internal carpentry of its headquarters.

The young owners' couple explained to me that the multi layers wood used within the products originates from controlled birch forests of Russia and it is so natural (none of synthetic or metallic parts are utilised) that anyone can set the furniture on fire when eventually he gets tired of it.

There are several areas in which the business operates: the furniture for stores, show rooms and offices; for the hospitality industry (hotel, cafes and restaurants) and for privates.
The Saglietti family is determined to develop quality projects, by its constant research for new materials, the ultimate technology innovations and the eye-for-detail attitude. Of course, a sprinkle of experience and creativity is also the additional value to reach the best product. Studio Arredi is proud of the motto that represents the vision and mission of the trade: "Easy, Light and Sustainable". Easy: because the products can be burnt at the end of their life. Light: the materials and thus the objects don't weigh too much. Sustainable: it highlights the importance to work respecting the environment and controlling the correct maintenance of the sources.

If you click on the Esposit tab you will see all the catalogue artefacts: the Kid's RESTA, a table/chair/box/blackboard all-in-one, the Scacco (chess) library, small tables, Christmas trees to be trimmed in your house, the ATTAKKO hanger and any kind of shelves. CHECKMATE is a patent; it provides different interlocking, shapes and combination. See here for a demonstration.

Have also a look to VINIMO, the wine bottle display.

Every structure does not require metalware or any usage of stools, as the assembling phase is Easy, Light and Sustainable!
So, if you'd like to shop different for this Christmas, think about of this outstanding Made in Italy project.
