The Harry Perkins Medical Research Institute is situated in Nedlands, Western Australia and since 1998 has become known as Australia's leading adult medical research centres. Although their research leads them down many paths, their focus is mainly on cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and neurogenetic diseases.

On Tuesday 11th August 2020, the Institute is hosting a Student Information Sundowner. This is an opportunity to meet the researchers and explore the avenues where an exciting career in medical research can lead you. Students enrolled at the university have the opportunity to complete a PhD, Honours or Masters project under the guidance of renown researchers of world-class competence.
