Witness dance that is joyous, poetic and unashamedly beautiful, as sixteen phenomenal dancers from around Australia dive into the fluid virtuosity of Ohad Naharin's world.

Decadence Perth 2016 is part of the upcoming MoveMe Festival, celebrating Australian dance this September.

Regarded as one of internationally-acclaimed choreographer Ohad Naharin's more popular works, Decadance reorganises excerpts from his previous works into a new engaging experience and a coherent, new whole. Decadance is constantly evolving and features in the repertory of major companies around the globe.

STRUT Dance will present its own unique version: Decadance Perth 2016 with many of the exceptional dancers who have been researching Gaga, Ohad Naharin's movement language over the past three years.

"Beauty and ugliness, refinement and vulgarity, tribal urgency and individual will, humour and sadness: all are present, sometimes simultaneously, in Decadance." New York Times

MoveMe Festival event-goers are invited to experience an arts festival in a radically new way, as one pass gets you into all the main events. Over four enlightening days, the festival will feature big new shows and ideas at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia.
