On Tuesday 3rd July from 3.00 to 5.00pm StreetSmart Kids Workshop will be held at the club. Children from six years will be taught techniques to recognise potential threats. These will include street, home and school safe strategies, prevention and awareness, simple and effective self-defence techniques, situational awareness, protective behaviours and the street-smart ABC's.
The workshop is free and children can bring a friend. No previous martial arts experience is necessary and there is no need to wear a uniform. Even if your child has attended this event previously, please encourage them to attend so their skills can be refreshed. Previous workshops have been booked out, so it is best to book in as soon as possible as places are limited. Bookings close 27th June 2018.
Check out the training workshops on BTC's website and ring 3177 4550 to make a booking. BTC is located at 21 Bishop Street, Kelvin Grove.
