Are you a wanderer? Do you appreciate art deco, heritage and modern architecture? Do you like to doze under the shade of trees amongst roses in a park? For a wonderful Sunday activity, why not stroll the streets of Kirribilli?

Kirribilli - class, history and culture, that comes with antiquity. Established in the mid 1800's, it has an important, central position in our colonial history. 19th Century grand residences including Kirribilli House , Admiralty House and Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron circle the suburb along the harbour foreshore.









Kirribilli plays host to many recreational activities. Restaurants in Kirribilli range from the fun and delicious burgers at Batch Burgers & Expresso to delicate seafood at Garfish Seafood Restaurant around the corner. Most of Kirribilli's streets are tree-lined, and there are several parks in the suburb, including my favourite, Milson Park next door to Sydney Flying Squadron . Those who love a bargain can forage through suitcases every few weekends at the Kirribilli Markets , including the Fashion Markets, Art & Design Markets and the General Markets.



Kirribilli has been a source of dreams and imaginations (who once lived in that 19th century terrace?) and sources of motivation to work hard (that terrace balcony would be perfect for a morning coffee!) for me for many years.
