Basically, it's a fun filled day of street photography for amateurs and enthusiasts.
Meet at the Art Gallery (beside New Edition bookshop) at 86 High Street, Fremantle, before kicking off a photography game that is based on a mystery topic. Return within two hours to showcase your work, with winners receiving a prize.
Challenge your mind creatively and discover the city in a different view.
The simple conditions, according to the website, are:
1. BYO digital camera - automatic cam, SLRs, and iPhone cams are all acceptable. 2. No post-editing - no filters (if taken via iPhone), all photos have to be taken on the day given the mystery topic. 3. One entry only for each contestant. 4. Entries will be judged on creative merits, not just technical skills or aesthetics.
5. Registration begins at 10.30 am.
6. Briefing and game starts at 11 am sharp.
7. Safety first and awesome picture second. Please take care and watch the traffic when taking great pictures of the streets.
There is an entry fee of $10 to participate in the Street Photography Game. You can register at here.
