Central Coast pups, listen up - the Street Paws Festival is coming your way! This time round, us Sydney-siders are making the drive up to attend the event, rather than you guys having to make the trip down. And we're so excited for the upcoming road trip, with the destination being a whole day full of doggy fun!
The Street Paws Festival (Central Coast), proudly sponsored by PETstock, Mt Penang Gardens, Animal Referral Hospital Gosford and Point Clare Vets, was organised to celebrate the amazing doggy community in the form of a free event, with an open invite to all! That's right, the whole family is invited - so bring yourself, your significant others, your friends, and of course, your kids. Both furry and hooman kids alike!
The event kicks off at 11am and goes all the way until 4pm, providing you with a whole day of fun. It is located at the beautiful Mt Penang Gardens and Event Park in Kariong, where your furbaby can also go for a swim if they wish!
Quirky competitions for your pooches - so get those outfits ironed and ready, and keep practising your best pawty tricks!
Training, educational and medical advice, including lots of freebies!
Pet photobooth and portraits - so don't forget to look your best too, for fear of showing your dog up!
Agility courses/demonstrations from the pawfessionals!
And much more!
If you've got a rescue dog, you have until 5pm on Thursday 24th May to submit your entry, for a chance of winning some amazing prizes! To enter, simply share a pic of your rescue dog and their story (in under 100 words) to the official Facebook event page. The photo and accompanying caption will be printed out and displayed at the event. Once the winner has been announced at 1:25pm, you can take the pic away with you!
There will also be a wide range of market stalls that cater to both us and our dogs! Businesses that have confirmed their attendance include (but is not limited to):
There is also a whole area dedicated for the human kids,
Inflatable slide and agility course, ice cream by delight cones and stall with toys, lucky dips and much more and show bags.
