Lots of things for all to see and do and all to a good cause
Beach Road in the middle off the southern suburb of Christies Beach, is where it is all happening this coming week. The main business precinct will be turned pink for a week with two major events on October 10th and 18th. During the week local business will carry on with the pink theme decorating their shops and businesses. They will ask shoppers to donate to the fundraising efforts for cancer research which will be the aim of the week overall.

On Saturday October 10th "More Pink!", a Pink tribute band will provide the entertainment at a free concert at Rotary Park. Entry to the event is free, however gold coin donation would be appreciated. The concert, starting at 7pm is an alcohol free event.
On Sunday the 18th at 10am, a fabulous Pink Market will be held along with a Teddy bears Pinknic. The first 300 children to arrive will receive a free pink teddy bear. There will be kid's activities, entertainment, food, and a range of unique market stalls.
Have a laugh at 12 noon when the hospital bed charity race is on. Local businesses will contribute their part in the fundraising by racing each other down the street. This will be a fun day of entertainment for all the family.
