City's disadvantaged delight in Street Games in Bowen Hills
From now until 6th May 2019, Reclink Australia is hosting Street Games at Jeays Street Bowen Hills. Street Games are provided free and are accessible sports programs held in hot spots and parks across the Nation for disadvantaged Australian's to have the opportunity to participate in a range of sports and recreational activities for social, healthy and fun enjoyment. Street Games also provide a safe space for all people, that is drug and alcohol-free.
You are welcome to join in on the day's activities; please bring water, hat and sunscreen. Valley Hearts serve dinner at 5.00pm and Orange Sky Laundry facilities will also be on site for those in need.
There are so many activities provided by Reclink Australia, that there are too many to note here; however, I suggest you visit their activities page on the website for venues and towns listed all over Australia where these are occurring. There is no other social inclusion program in Australia with the impact and social bonding that Reclink Australia's model currently is providing. They are also in partnership with more than 200 community organisations.
If you would like more information, please telephone 0414 805 078. Dates for the events can be found here and kick-off at 3.00pm.
