Food is something you will never be in want of when in Bangkok. You don't have to dish out a lot of money either, just a few bahts can get you amazing street food that is on par with luxury spots.

Are you getting out of a nightclub at 3am? Woke up with cravings at 5am? Not to worry. The Sathorn restaurants may have timings, but the local street food has no timing, it is always open and we can bet that at least 5 shops serving yummy food will be open at a time during all hours of the day. Staying close to the city centres will give you unlimited access to food, and an example of such a place is the Chatrium Residence. Sathon Bangkok is a city that never sleeps, and possibly, one that never stops serving food neither.

Lumpini Park Food Market

Smack in the middle of the green oasis in the city, this market is at its best on Sunday mornings. While the calorie burners and healthy eaters run around the park, you can enjoy a delectable meal while you watch them.

The market is open at around 6am and sells all kinds of food, fruits, vegetables and drinks, both cooked, and uncooked. The smells wafting around at 6am is enough to wake anyone up from the deepest slumbers, and if you are a foodie or just hungry on a Sunday morning while in Sathorn, check it out.

Convent Road

The best time to go to Convent Road is on a weekday afternoon. Chicken and rice dishes are the best here, along with soups, noodles, and sweets. You can sit on the pavement chairs and have your meal while you watch the people hustle about or take the food away to eat in a cooler place like your home or room.

Silom Night Market

One of the most popular markets of Bangkok, the Silom Night Market is known worldwide and will be on every traveller's plan when it comes to Bangkok. For those craving some international food, there is a 24 hour Burger King too, not to worry.

This market is famous for selling fried insects as sides, so, unless you want to widen your foodie horizons and are open to swallowing a cockroach or two, don't buy anything that looks suspicious to you.

CentralWorld Food Court

You love tasting the great local cuisine, but you also want a view and room that is Instagram-worthy? You've found the perfect place! Located on top of the CentralWolrd mall, this food court has everything Bangkok has to offer in terms of food. Not as cheap as the street food, but also not too steep, this is great food at a reasonable price.
